Who may borrow library materials?
Anyone who attends Webster Bible Church as well as the students, faculty and staff of Webster Christian School may borrow library materials.
How many items may be borrowed?
In general, each library user may borrow 3 items at a time. Students at WCS in grades Pre-K through 2nd grade may borrow 1 item at a time. Staff members and teachers may borrow additional items for ministry and classroom use.
How long is the loan period?
The normal loan period is two weeks but holidays and school breaks may result in longer-than-usual loan periods.
Can materials be renewed?
A library item may be renewed two times unless a hold has been placed on it by another library user. A borrower may renew his or her library material(s) by coming to the circulation desk (it is not necessary to bring the items along) or by calling the library (585 872-5150 x227) during our normal hours of operation.
What if a library item is returned late?
A $.05 fine per item is applied to the borrower’s account for each day materials are overdue. In addition, no more materials may be borrowed until any overdue items are returned. Reminders of overdue materials are attached to school packets (pre-K through 5th grade), given to homeroom teachers (6th -12th grade) or sent through the mail to church attendees.
What happens if a library user owes a fine?
WCS students in grades Pre-K through 2nd grade need to pay any fine before they may borrow another item. For all other patrons, a fine of $2.00 or more will require payment before additional items may be borrowed.
